Street portrait shoot
An idea for a series we’ve been thinking about for awhile now, went out and shot the first images this Wednesday (25 June). These were shot on the street with the rest of society rolling by.
Three homeless men sitting on a bench, we first noticed them about one week ago. They are there all day, everyday. Before and after the shooting I talked to them quite a bit and gave them some money to help out, it was a very interesting encounter.

I really like these. Did you bring along a white backdrop? What did you use for lighting?

Those are great shots! I’ve thought about photographing homeless people myself but live in the country so would have to travel to a local city.
Did it take much to get the to do it?

Great idea, I’m going to add that one to my “projects to try” list. Which is needless to say getting bigger!
