Street portrait shoot
An idea for a series we’ve been thinking about for awhile now, went out and shot the first images this Wednesday (25 June). These were shot on the street with the rest of society rolling by.
Three homeless men sitting on a bench, we first noticed them about one week ago. They are there all day, everyday. Before and after the shooting I talked to them quite a bit and gave them some money to help out, it was a very interesting encounter.
Shoot at the Dunes
Yesterday (June 23rd) me and my bros took a trip out to the dunes at L’Espiguette for a test shoot. I was thinking about this idea with the sand for a couple days before. So we hauled out the big flashes for this shoot.. my first location action shoot with the new Nikon D3 + 24-70 2.8, the gear performed beautifully.
Here are a couple of the first shots I’ve processed, we were out there cooking in the sun for the afternoon but it was worth it !
Hello world!
So I’ve finally started my blog !!
I’ve got a lot of older stuff to put on so it will be changing a lot over the next couple weeks.
Please feel free to make comments on any of my posts.

Exhibition with the Battle of the year France
April 28, 2008 was the vernissage(opening) of my solo exhibition for the Battle of the year festival in Montpellier. The opening was a great success !! the gallery was packed, the mayor of montpellier came to give an opening speech as well as the Minister of culture and Minister of sport for the region and Thomas from Attitude.
The exhibition was in the gallery St. Ravy for one week, great gallery and the prints were incredible!!
We chose to use a sublimation process whereby the images are printed/bonded directly to an aluminium sheet giving beautiful results. Really it has to be seen to be believed !
Thanks to: Attitude http://www.attitudeasso.com/ for having made this exhibition possible !
Here are some snapshots from the gallery,
Next the exhibition went off to Nimes for the Vauvert Hip hop festival!
